The Bank of Natural Products of the BOBIC manufactures natural products from wild organisms inhabiting islands and coastal areas. To do so, taxonomic researchers collect and precisely identify the species first. Biomaterials are collected, classified, cleaned, freeze-dried, crushed, extracted, analyzed for their usefulness, and then manufactured in powder form. The BOBIC endeavors to distribute natural products that have been safely preserved in a systematic management system.
